In the Vladimir region, a section of the Orgtrud – Lemeshki highway was repaired

Thanks to the implementation of the national project «Safe Quality Roads» in Vladimir, a section of the Lemeshki – Orgtrud route was repaired. The length of the facility ― 4 km.

The highway connects the village of Lemeshki and the Orgtrud microdistrict, where over 5 thousand residents live, with the regional center. In both settlements there are social infrastructure facilities: in Lemeshki there are the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, the House of Culture and the School of Sports Paintball, in Orgtrud ― the city hospital and the Church of Andrei Stratilat.

Lemeshki – Orgtrud is the main route of regular bus services. In particular, school buses take primary school students from nearby settlements: Karjakino, Davydovo and Lemeshki to school № 47 in the Orgtrud microdistrict and back. And high school students travel by school bus to Vladimir to vocational guidance classes at the city interscholastic educational plant № 2.

In the process of repair, road workers arranged the leveling and upper layers of the coating, carried out work on the arrangement of 12 landing sites and approaches to them. Side stone is installed and marking is applied.

Recall that in total in 2023, thanks to the national project in the Vladimir region, more than 147 km of regional, inter-municipal and local roads will be brought to standards, including 15.6 km ― the road network in cities and municipalities.
