Chechen Republic: repair of Ashgabat street under public control
In the capital of the Chechen Republic, representatives of the Popular Front, the regional ministry of highways and the Grozny mayor's office visited the facility of the national project "Safe Quality Roads" - Ashgabat Street.
This site is socially significant for the city and was included in the list of objects of the national project at the request of the townspeople. Ashgabat Street leads to the city polyclinic No. 5 and the Juma Mosque. Its length is 2.26 km.
Now the facility is repairing the roadway, which includes milling the outdated and laying a new coating layer.
Public controllers measured the temperature of the asphalt concrete mixture, the width of the roadway and slopes. All indicators meet modern requirements and standards. Activists noted the good work of road workers on Ashgabat Street, talked with local residents and workers.
In total, 48 sections of the road network with a total length of 47.4 km will be repaired in Grozny under the Safe High-Quality Roads national project in 2024. For 11 of them, work on the installation of the upper layers of the coating has already been completed.
