More than 917 thousand passengers used electric buses received under the national project in Yaroslavl
In Yaroslavl, electric buses purchased thanks to the national project "Safe high-quality roads" have already transported more than 917 thousand passengers.
Modern rolling stock first began operating in the city in February this year. Initially, a new type of transport for Yaroslavl ran only on one route - No. 50 "Krestobogorodskaya" - "15th microdistrict," but from June 1, electric buses took another route - No. 60 "Rykacheva Street" - "Avtozavodskaya Street."
"From 1 July, route 50 was reinforced with five additional vehicles. To date, 34 electric buses and four in reserve are involved in the work. The interval on both routes during peak hours is an average of 10 minutes. The region received this modern, environmentally friendly equipment under the Safe High-Quality Roads national project. In total, we received 38 electric buses, purchased 12 charging stations, "- said and. about. Minister of Transport of the Yaroslavl Region Alexei Bolotov.
The electric bus can accommodate 85 passengers, it has 30 seats. The cars are adapted for the needs of people with disabilities and people with limited mobility, have a low-floor body and a ramp.
The rolling stock is equipped with modern information, video surveillance and air conditioning systems. The salon has convenient non-cash payment methods.
"Electric buses are so quiet and smooth, you don't even feel that you are going, while they run on schedule," said passenger Maria Ershova.
Recall that by the end of 2024, within the framework of the federal project "Development of public transport" of the national project "Safe high-quality roads," more than 7.4 thousand vehicles will arrive in the regions of the country.
