Tourist routes are being updated in the Tambov region thanks to the national project
In the Tambov region, during the implementation of the national project «Safe Quality Roads», special attention is paid to the repair of roads leading to tourist attractions.
So, this year a section of the road «Tambov - Penza» - Rasskazovo - Uvarovo - Muchkapsky with a length of almost 1.8 km and transit streets of the city of Uvarovo, which lead to one of the main tourist places in the Tambov region - the Museum-Reserve S.V. Rachmaninova in Ivanovka. In 2023, his 150th birthday is celebrated and the estate of the great Russian composer, pianist and conductor is one of the main venues where commemorative events are held.
Another object that will be updated this year is the Morshansk-Pichaevo road, leading to the V.I. Vernadsky Museum. Road works here are planned to be completed by November.
In the regional center, thanks to the national project, roads leading to places of culture and recreation are also being repaired. Thus, specialists are already working on the section of Agapkina Street from Michurinskaya Street to Ryleeva Street. The length of the facility is 1.24 km. Here in 2020, a square was opened and a monument was erected that immortalized the feat of firefighters and rescuers who died in the line of duty.
Chichkanov Street will also be transformed, on which one of the main cultural spaces of Tambov is located - the library named after N.K. Krupskaya. In addition, Chichkanova leads to the Vozdvizhensky cemetery, the largest military memorial. The total length of the repaired section is 2 km.
Note that at all facilities, road workers will lay a new surface, put in order sidewalks and exits, equip public transport stops. To improve safety, pedestrian fences, new road signs and lighting will be installed, as well as durable thermoplastic markings.
In total, in 2023, in the Tambov region, according to the national project «Safe Quality Roads», they plan to bring more than 43 kilometers of roads to a standard state and overhaul three bridges. Repairs are planned at 12 facilities, 11 of which will be completed by the end of this year. Another - an overpass on Lavrov Street in Michurinsk - is planned to be commissioned next year.
