Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug: the commission checked the course of reconstruction of the Surgut – Lyantor highway
This year, a large-scale reconstruction of the Surgut-Lyantor highway section from 21 to 33 km will be completed in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. Work is underway on the national project «Safe Quality Roads» from 2021.
To improve road safety from 21 to 26 km, 5.4 km of electric lighting lines have already been built in two directions of traffic and energy-efficient LED lights have been installed on modern metal supports.
Experts have installed an overhead power line between lighting supports and will soon start power supply.
Last year, on a 5.4 km stretch, road workers widened the carriageway from two to four lanes to increase capacity and provide comfortable travel. Now an axial concrete fence is being mounted here to prevent head-on collisions.
On an area of more than 58 thousand square meters. m specialists laid the upper layer of the coating from high-strength crushed stone-mastic asphalt concrete ShchMA-16 and strengthened the shoulders 2.25 m wide on each side.
A special commission consisting of the customer, a contractor and social activists, together with the road laboratory, checked the progress of work at the facility. Samples of new asphalt were taken, later in the laboratory experts will determine whether the asphalt concrete coating meets the regulatory requirements.
The commission did not have any complaints about the quality of the work performed ― everything goes according to the approved schedule without lag.
Recall that it is planned to complete the work by the end of November 2023.
