Thanks to the national project in 2022, 353 units of new transport arrived in the regions
Deliveries of ground public passenger transport to urban agglomerations within the framework of the national project «Safe Quality Roads» for 2022 have been completed.
In total, in accordance with the annual plan, 353 units of equipment (330 buses and 23 trolleybuses) were transferred to regional carriers for operation in 9 urban agglomerations ― Astrakhan, Bryansk, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Perm, Sochi, Ulan-Ude and Chelyabinsk.
For example, this year 14 new Admiral trolleybuses arrived in Bryansk, which will run on one of the longest routes in Bryansk - No. 14t «YurFak BSU - 10th Microdistrict». It connects Sovetsky and Bezhitsky districts. Now transport is undergoing testing, they plan to release equipment on the line in January 2023.
«Bryansk ― a unique city. In 1956, Bryansk and Bezhitsa were merged, Bezhitsa became a district of an enlarged city. So our distances are long. I gladly learned that 14 new Admiral trolleybuses will go on route No. 14t ― from the Sovetsky District to Bezhitsky. The more trolleybuses on the line ― the better. I saw their run-in on the roads of the regional center ― very spacious and beautiful. I look forward to when they take the route», ― said Anna Ovchinnikova, a resident of the Bezhitsky district of Bryansk.
In Perm, the fleet has been updated since 2020. During this time, 79 buses arrived in the capital of Prikamye. They run on routes No. 1, No. 32, No. 4, No. 74 and No. 64.
This year, the agglomeration received another 53 «NEFAZ» buses. They entered routes No. 3 Nagorny microdistrict – «Rechnik» store, No. 10 «PNIPU – Nagorny microdistrict» and No. 36 «Ironic «Company Theater» – Vyshka-2 microdistrict – Vyshka-1 microdistrict».
«Over the past three years, urban transport has been greatly updated. Previously, I had to stand at stops for a very long time, but during our Ural winter this is an unpleasant activity. Now we have warm, comfortable buses and do not need to worry about how, for example, to get to the hospital with a child ― buses come exactly as scheduled, you can plan the time to leave the house», said Polina Ivanova, a resident of Perm.
The fleet of Chelyabinsk this year was replenished with 16 comfortable buses. New «LiAZ» entered route No. 15 «CHMK - Gagarin Park».
«This is a worthy contribution to the renewal of urban public transport - we will continue this work in the interests of people. In 2023-2024, within the framework of the national project, the Chelyabinsk park will be replenished with another 65 new modern buses that will be loyal to the ecology of the city. Gas is much more environmentally friendly than traditional fuel, it does not contain particles and sulfur compounds that make up urban smog. It also allows you to significantly reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides, heavy hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide», ― said the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Teksler.
The route along which transport will follow connects the remote Metallurgical District with the center of Chelyabinsk. On the way ― South Ural State University, the Yunost Sports Palace, a new embankment that is popular with citizens and guests of the city.
The federal project «Development of public transport» allows updating regional parks with a high level of wear and tear of equipment. Large-scale deliveries of new and convenient buses, trolleybuses and trams directly affect the improvement of the quality of transport services and an increase in the mobility of the population. In 2023-2024, it is planned to supply another 808 pieces of equipment to 19 urban agglomerations.
Recall that the program has been implemented by State Transport Leasing Company JSC (GTLK) since 2020 using a leasing mechanism and state support in the form of subsidies from the Ministry of Transport of Russia. Due to co-financing from the federal budget, regional carriers receive environmentally friendly and comfortable transport for leasing, suitable for people with disabilities, with a significant discount.
The total investment in the purchase of transport under the 2022 program amounted to 6.3 billion rubles, of which 2.7 billion rubles fall on budget funds.
