Belgorod region: the work planned for the national project «Safe Quality Roads» for 2023 has been completed

In the Belgorod region, the entire scope of work planned for the national project «Safe Quality Roads» for 2023 has been completed. 107.5 km were brought into a normative state. The amount of financing amounted to 2.5 billion rubles, including 1.1 billion rubles ― federal budget funds.

This year, work took place on 64 sections of municipal roads and 8 regional ones. The Belgorod region became the leader in the number of objects among municipalities ― 15 sections of the road network were updated here.

In addition, contractors have updated 10 artificial structures. In particular, in Alekseevka, the bridge over the Tikhaya Sosna River was overhauled, in Belgorod, an overpass along Studencheskaya Street.

Special attention was paid to the safety of road users. This year, according to the national project, 10.4 km of sidewalks were equipped: 4.5 km on local roads, 5.9 km ― on regional ones. In addition, pedestrian crossings near educational institutions are equipped in accordance with national standards: artificial irregularities, signal traffic lights, railing, marking are installed.

As part of the 2023 road national project, a life cycle contract was signed for the overhaul of the Bogoslovka – Dalnaya Livenka – Chibisovka highway in the Gubkinsky Gorokrug.
